Saturday we went looking for our Christmas tree and found a really nice tree farm up in Fallbrook. It's a lot more difficult to find a real tree farm in San Diego compared to Seattle but I think we found one that we liked. Picking out Christmas trees with Marie is very similar to that of picking out pumpkins (see older post) so you know we had a great time.
We found out that Marie has difficulty judging height. We were looking for a 7-8' tall tree and she continually picked out trees of this height. I have to admit, the taller trees did look better.
Here is the tree we finally picked out. Even though Marie had picked another one out by the time I got back with the guys to cut it down.
Here is the finished project and what a beautiful tree it has become. Marie did such a wonderful job in decorating. A special thank you to Rose Mary for all of her help with the tree and decorations.
