28

Elle is 28 weeks today!

She has finally been getting better with eating rice cereal.
She really hasn't had much of an interest until the past few days.

Now she seems to actually enjoy it.

We love this little lady to pieces!

Christmas Dinner

We had such a great time at Christmas dinner.
Aunt Kelleen and Uncle Ruben were kind enough to host and everything was wonderful.
Wonderful food, wonderful fun and especially wonderful family.

The kids had fun with their gift exchange.

 The kids
Poor Elle was asleep and missed the picture, so I had to sneak her in (on the left).

Then it was time for a big kid cousin picture.

And then the night ended with the adult gift exchange which is always lots of fun.

We had such a wonderful Christmas!
We feel so blessed!

Christmas Morning

Emma was so excited and woke us all up at 6:30 am.
She also woke us up at 4 am crying. Doug ran in to her room to see what was wrong and she said " I have to go potty very bad, but I can't get out of bed because Santa won't come."
Doug made sure the coast was clear and then Emma ran into the bathroom.

This Christmas was extra special because it was Elle's 1st Christmas.

Emma only had one thing on her list for Santa...
Hello Kitty Band Aids.
When she opened them she yelled "Santa knew just what I wanted."
She was excited with all of the other fun things Santa filled her bag with, but the Band Aids were by far the most exciting gift.

After gifts we all had breakfast and then got ready to head to Uncle Ruben and Aunt Kelleen's.

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve.
After Christmas Eve mass and dinner out we headed back to our house.

We all opened our Christmas jammies.

Douggie read "The Night Before Christmas"

Then we made sure to leave a yummy snack for Santa.

Tamale Day

This past Sunday was Tamale Day!
Tamale Day is one of my favorite days of the year.
It is so much fun and brings back so many childhood memories with my Grandma.
I am so glad that we carry on this tradition each year.

While we were making the tamales the kids made gingerbread houses and played games.

The men all watched football and conveniently happened to be in the kitchen right when the first batch of tamales were ready.

And Doug's favorite part of the day was the Seahawk game!

Crawling

  Our little lady can crawl.
It is half army crawl, half on all fours crawl, but it is still crawling.
Here are some pictures of her in action...

Time to take a little rest.

So proud because she finally got the wipes!
Then she spotted something else to crawl to...
her sissy's pretty shoes!

We are so proud of our little Elle!
