Happy Father's Day

We had a wonderful Father's Day celebrating with all of these fabulous fathers!

A very special Happy Father's Day to GG Bob (my grandpa).
We hope you had a wonderful day!

My Father's Day gift to you is that I updated the blog!!!
I know that you have been disappointed in my lack of posts recently. Sorry that I was slacking!

Elle's butterfly birthday party

Yesterday we celebrated Elle with a Butterfly Birthday Party!
She enjoyed exploring the park and playing with all of her friends and family. She had a fabulous time!

Emma gave her a Cabbage Patch Doll and accessories.
Her doll "Ella Erica" has the very same birthday as Elle!

We are so thankful to everyone who was able to make it.
We had such a great time and we loved celebrating Elle!

A special shout out to Abuelita, Grandma Cherie and Grandpa Bob for all of their help setting up!

Park of the week #3
Call me a cheater, but this was also our park of the week.
We were way too busy with Birthday happenings to try and squeeze in another park.

Happy 2nd Birthday Elle!

Our sweet Elle is TWO today!!!

she is feisty
she is beautiful
she is funny
she is clever
she is sweet
she is independent
she is PERFECT

We love her to pieces!

A day at the beach!

On Friday we went to the beach with Aunt Lizzy, Jacob, Papa and Abuelita.
Elle loved the sand, even ate some and liked the water a little.
Emma loves to play in the sand and started to get brave in the water.

Emma's Pre School Graduation

On Wednesday June 11th, Emma graduated from pre school!
She is so excited to be going to Kindergarten in the fall!

After her graduation, we gave her a big girl bike!
She was so surprised and so excited!

Thursday was her official last day of school and here is a little first day of school (left) vs. last day of school (right) comparison.
She has grown so much this year!

We are so proud of Emma and all that she learned in pre school and we are really excited that Elle will be starting there in the fall!

Park of the Week #2

Last Saturday (June 7) we went to our second park of the week.
We went to a tiny park that we really like.
It is Knob Hill Park and it is always so much fun.

The girls love the playground, the swings, the grassy area to run and they love to climb the pyramid.
The only draw back is that there is only a porta potty.

Happy Birthday Papa!

Last Sunday was my dad's Birthday!

We celebrated with a Birthday dinner after Emma's recital.

We celebrated some more with lunch on Sunday after church!

We love you so much Papa and are so thankful that you are doing so well!

Emma's First Ballet Recital

Last Saturday was Emma's first ballet recital.
She practiced so hard this spring and was so excited for the recital.

She loved it and had such a huge smile on her face the entire time!
We are all so proud of her!

Elle's Swim Lessons

Elle just finished swim lessons last week.
She had so much fun with Doug at her parent and child class.
She did a great job and loved playing in the water, especially playing with the watering can.

Go Kevin!

We went to watch Kevin finish his very first marathon.
He ran the Rock N Roll Marathon in SD a few weeks ago and he was pretty darn amazing.
We are so proud of him and so happy that we got to cheer him on.

After the marathon we went to Liberty Station.
Doug and Kevin had beers and lunch at Stone and I played with the kids.

We decided to so a little Father's Day surprise and paint some pottery for the dads.

Then we went and ran around and played in the courtyards,

Park of the week #1

We started off our summer tradition of a park each week.
Our first park was Mulberry Park in San Marcos on Friday May 30.

It was perfect!
Family, fun, pizza, the spray ground and the playground.

What happened to May?!?!

We are loving June around here, but I realized that I should probably play catch up on the blog with the rest of our May happenings.

Friday of Memorial Day weekend I went to the Safari Park with the girls.

We celebrated with Jacob because he passed his times table test!

I went to the park with these cute kids!

Emma has been wanting to go to the "owl restaurant" by our house for months, so we took her.
She loved it and said that the girls that work there are so pretty. She wants to get a job there when she grows up.

We celebrated with Dave as he graduated with his Masters in Education.

My parents celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary!!!

We had a fun Cornhole Tournament on Memorial Day.

We spent another evening at the park with these lovely ladies.

We also relaxed in the backyard a bit!
