Pictures with Santa

 Emma with Santa...
She loves him,
she whispered her Christmas list,
and she loved her candy cane.

Since this was Elle's first visit with Santa we decided to do individual pictures.

Elle with Santa...
She met him for the very 1st time,
she was unsure at first but then was all smiles,
and she liked the fur on his coat.

Today is a special day because little Elle is 24 weeks!

Friday at Bates Nut Farm

Friday afternoon I took the girls to Bates.
Douggie stayed home so that he could watch the Apple Cup (University of Washington vs. Washington State).

We were surprised when we saw there was an arts and crafts fair there this weekend.
We had lots of fun walking around the booths and going shopping in the store.

Emma was even able to talk to Santa.

After the hayride with Santa we headed home in time to catch the last quarter of the Apple Cup.

Elle sported some of Douggie's coug gear for good luck.
It worked... the Cougars won. Go Cougs!

23

Sweet little Elle is 23 weeks!

She has become a tiny bit fussy these past few days.
She has been teething for a little while, but it seems to be getting worse.
Poor little thing.

She has been doing better with her rice cereal.

She is our sweet little Elle!
We love her to pieces!

Our Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
We hope that you all did as well.

Bright and early Doug and Emma started working on the smoked turkey.
Emma was a great helper.
 Looks wonderful Douggie!
And it was delicious!

Then is was time for some pictures.
We are so Thankful for these two ladies!

Then we were off to my Uncle Ruben and Aunt Kelleen's beautiful new home.

 Happy 1st Thanksgiving Elle!

After dinner we went to see the first night of the Christmas lights on Knob Hill.

Elle had just woken up and she wasn't sure what to think at first.
Turns out she loved all of the twinkling lights.

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!

Our new friend JJ

Wednesday evening Douggie and I met our new little friend JJ.
His parents are our good friends AJ and Melissa.

He is a big guy weighing in at over 10 lbs.
He is so sweet and so snugly. He even snorts.
He is pretty perfect.

Congratulations AJ and Mel!

The day before Thanksgiving breakfast

One of our annual traditions... and I love it!
Breakfast at the Golden Egg Omelet House.

Such a fun way of starting the holiday season.
And such good food.

the kids crane

Tuesday evening we made our annual trip to Ikea for the AJ's kids crane.
We had our bag full of toys to donate and got a nice little surprise... they were giving away tickets to Disney on Ice!

We were even lucky enough to meet Snow White and Aurora.
They were  so sweet and posed for a picture with Emma.

Congratulations on reaching your goal AJ!
100,000 toys!

Happy Birthday Jillian!

Yesterday we went to Jillian's Ariel Birthday Party.
We had so much fun!
Apparently so much fun that I forgot to take pictures of all the kids playing in the jumpy, the playroom and the swing set.

The cake was not only beautiful, but delicious.

Thank you so much for inviting us.
Happy 4th Birthday Jillian!!!
We hope all of your birthday wishes come true.

And Jillian... Emma would like to know if you will share your Aunt Abby with her. She had so much fun playing with her. As soon as we got in the car Emma asked if Aunt Abby could come over and play. That Abby could make some serious money babysitting. All of the kids love her.

Safari Park with Harper and Drew

Friday afternoon I took the girls to the Safari Park to meet up with Harper, Drew and Korissa.

The little baby gorilla was out playing.
He was so cute.

Harper and Emma had so much fun playing together!

One of these days little Drew and Elle will be able to join in on the fun.
