The park and Victoria's game.

Yesterday morning we went to watch Victoria's game.
We got there and quickly realized that her team wasn't playing.
Turns out there was a mix up with the time and we were early.
We headed over to the playground and had a great time.

After all the fun, we went to watch her team WIN!!!

Friday with my girls!

I love that I have Fridays off and I get to spend my day with the girls!
We headed out for a fun morning of shopping.

Then we came home for lunch, and then both girls fell asleep at the same time!

That means I got to take a nap as well!

Movie time

Tuesday was an exciting day around here.
Emma had been counting down the days on her calendar until Frozen came out on DVD.
She watched it twice that evening.

Meanwhile Elle was watching her Caillou movie on the tablet...
she is hilarious!

St. Patrick's Day

The Leprechaun came for a visit and brought us a pot of gold at the end of his rainbow.
The girls love eating the gold coins he left for them.

We had a fun St. Patrick's Day, we hope that you did as well!

21 Months

Elle is 21 months!
21 months of absolute perfection!

She is such a funny little girl who has a mind of her own.
She loves to cuddle with her Caillou doll, her Chica doll and her blanket.
Elle loves her puzzles, books and balls.
She loves to play outside and hit the t-ball with her bat.
Her pink Adidas are still her favorite shoes, but now she is wearing some hand me downs from Emma. She makes a fuss for a minute or so, but then gives in and wears them.

This week we tried going pee pee on the little potty.
First try... no luck, even after I bribed her with 7 mini m&m's.

Second try... still no luck, this time I tried bribing her with 10 mini m&m's.

Third  try... was a charm!!! Tonight when we were getting ready for the bath she sat down and went pee pee on her potty. Apparently it scared her a bit because she stopped and jumped up and then started clapping along with us. Then she finished peeing on the bath mat. We were so proud of her and we didn't care that we had to clean up her pee pee mess.
We are nowhere near ready for potty training, but we are excited that she gave it a try.

Woohoo Elle!

We love you to pieces.

Time to wake up!

Emma took an afternoon nap after swimming this afternoon.

We told Elle that she needed to wake up sissy.

Then the girls decided it was time to wake up daddy.

Victoria!

Yesterday evening we went to watch Victoria play in her tournament.
We always have such a great time watching her games.
She is such a talented pitcher and player and we are so proud of her.
I didn't get any pictures of the game, but I was able to get a couple of her warming up.

Emma's first audition!

Last week Emma went to her very first audition.

Back in January we submitted her and she was immediately accepted to an agency in LA.
After weeks and weeks of paper work, head shots and more paper work, she went to her first audition.
Did you know that children need work permits to model?!?!

Emma had a great time and we were so happy that she had a wonderful first experience.
She hasn't gotten a call back, but we are still so thankful that she enjoyed it as much as she did.

Here is one of her new head shots from a new photographer friend Christina.
Anjuli was about ready to have her sweet little baby girl and since she couldn't take Emma's pictures, she recommended Christina to us. We are so happy she did and so thankful for some beautiful pictures of our little Emma!

Just Elle and Mama

Last Friday Elle and I spent all day together.
It was just the two of us.
We started out at the Safari Park bright and early.
We got there right when they opened and it was perfect timing.
All of the animals were out, it wasn't crowded and it was nice and cool.
We only stayed a couple of hours, but we had so much fun!

We saw the ducks in the lagoon first.
Elle was a little nervous that they were so brave and got so close.
Once she realized that they weren't going to bother her she started quacking and saying "duck."

Then we said hi to the pretty white bird.

 Then off to the gorillas.
Elle was very nervous with them. There were so many of them, they were so close and they were so active.
She kept saying "bye bye" letting me know it was time to move on.

Next we went to the lions.
There were three of them that were so active and Elle loved them.
She kept making roar sounds and laughed watching them run.
One last stop at the lagoon to say bye to the ducks and then home for nap time... for both of us.
She took a 3 hour nap and I took advantage of every minute and napped myself. It was wonderful.

Then we were off to Papa and Abuelita's place to help unpack a bit and then off to the Fish Fry at church.

I love spending time with both of my girls, but every now and then it is wonderful to have a little one on one time. Elle and I had so much fun together!

Friday Fish Fry

This past Friday was the first fish fry at church this year.
We look forward to them each week during lent.
Emma is always excited to see her friends from school and we are always excited for the yummy food and time with family.

Elle and her puzzle

We have lots of puzzles at our house and Elle has a favorite.
She has mastered it and is so fast.
She loves to get it off the shelf and play with it several times each day.
It is so cute to watch her concentrate on her puzzle.

Busy. Busy. Busy.

Sorry for the lack of posts recently.
We have been really busy with work, school, life and helping Papa and Abuelita move.

We went over to their new place tonight and had a fun little picnic in the living room.

I will catch up on some posts soon!
