Amazing!!!

I checked Jocelyn's blog this evening, and wow did I ever get a little surprise.
She posted pictures of our little Emma, and they are amazing!!!

She captured such natural shots of Emma, and really caught her smile and her eyes!

Jocelyn... I can't thank you enough!

I would take a little trip up to Seattle anytime, just to have you take pictures of our little girl.

Our staycation

This past weekend we had ourselves a little staycation.
We bid on a package deal with Bri and Noel for a weekend at Lawrence Welk Resort.
For those of you that don't know, LW Resort is only about 10 minutes away from our house.
We had a great time being so close to home, but still on a vacation.

We checked in Thursday night and had Papa Bob and Abuelita Rose over for dinner.

Then it was bath time in the big tub.
Douggie even had to hop in to bathe Emma.

Such a cute nudie!!!

Friday we all went to work and then Emma stayed the night with Abuelita Rose and we went to dinner with Bri and Noel at the resort.

We were lucky enough to be there on karaoke night, which was hysterical!!!
A bunch of 60+ folks singing songs by Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra... wow we are wild!

Bri and Noel

Bri and I even joined in on the finale, I love that I am trying not to laugh, and that Bri is closing her eyes and so in to the song.

On the shuttle back to our room.

Since we weren't wild enough at karaoke, we played a little game of Old Maid when we got back to the room.

Saturday was Abuelita Rose's Birthday!!!
We golfed in the am and then our families came up and joined us at the pool.

We loved the water slide!!!

Someone loved the pool so much, that she wiped her self out and took a nap.

A little trip down to the fish pond with the kids.

Emma watching the kids and the fish.

Brigitte and Bill with Emma.
(Bri's parents)

Abuelita Rose opening some gifts.

My Grandpa Bob and Grandma Margaret were in town for a few days, so they stopped in for a visit.

Omar and Ebit

Papa Bob with Anyssa and Jacob.

We had a great little weekend 'get away!'
A special thank you to Abuelita for watching our little Emma, and a very Happy Birthday to her as well!

A little preview...

While we were in Seattle, Emma had a little photo shoot with Jocelyn.
Jocelyn is an amazingly talented girl, who happens to be BFFs with my cousin's wife Megan.
We were so lucky that she had some time open for our little girl... here is one shot, we will keep you posted for the rest.

Daddy's Biggest Fan

Tonight Emma was having a hard time falling asleep so I thought I would play her a few songs on the guitar. She usually gets pretty sleepy trying to watch both hands at the same time but this time was different. She really got into the song, "Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town" by Pearl Jam.

I couldn't even play the song because I was laughing so hard. Thanks for being such a fan kid. I'm glad she likes Pearl Jam as much as I do.

Seattle Trip

So as promised, here are some pictures from our fabulous trip to Seattle this past weekend.
It was Emma's 1st trip there!

We enjoyed a little nap, and there is no better way to nap on a plane, then in 1st class!!! Thanks to Doug's amazing cousin Jeff for the upgrade.

After we landed we headed out to visit Doug's Aunt Tess.

And Emma met her Great Grandma Rosemary (Doug's dad's mom).

4 Generations

Crawled around and enjoyed being the center of attention.

Ate like a big girl at the table.

Licked the plate clean!

Played at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Picked some blackberries with Lauren and Val.
Only in Washington can you walk to the corner and pick some berries... yummy!

Took some baths with the Lauren.

Watched Play House Disney with Lauren.

Looked adorable drinking a bottle.

Had lunch with Great Grandpa Bob, Great Grandma Margaret, Uncle Mike, Aunt Cindy, the Kok's and the folks.

Went on the Redhook Brewery tour... the best $1 ever spent.
I highly recommend this if you ever happen to be in Woodinville.

Enjoyed lots of beer for that $1.

Had a little BBQ with everyone from lunch, plus Ryan, Megan and Hadley.

Rode Benny's quad, and loved it.
Emma even pushed the button on her own as soon as she sat down on it.
That is our girl, she knows exactly what to do on a quad.
I know what we can get her for Christmas ;)

Played on the playground with the cousins.

Sat and chatted with Aunt Cindy.

Tried to take a cousin pick, minus Hadley.

Take 2, minus Ben.

And flew home enjoying a carrot in 1st class, once again thanks Jeff!

We had ourselves a perfect trip to Seattle.
It was so much fun to spend time with family and to see Emma hanging out with her big cousins.

Thanks to all of our Seattle family for being such great hosts!

32 and a funny do!

Here is a cute little picture of Emma's sweaty hairdo.
Her hair is finally getting a little longer, which makes me so excited for barrettes.

Our little girl loves to peak out of the crib every morning when she wakes up.

If you look closely, you can see her two teeth.
So cute! :)
The poor thing has been having a terrible time the past few days with her teeth. I hope that they start to feel better soon.

Happy 32 weeks!
