Yesterday afternoon, we headed to the Wild Animal Park to celebrate the birthdays of our good friends, Heather and her daughter Rachel.
Poor Jillian was a bit under the weather so Kristyn and Jillian weren't able to join us.
Emma was passed out for about the first half hour of the trip.
The park was really crowded, and we got a bit annoyed with all of the rude people.
So we headed over to this ↓ place.
It was almost as if we had the whole place to ourselves.
We ate some special Birthday Butterfly cookies.
They turned out to be really messy.
Mmmm, these rice cookies were a much better idea.
Rachel and Heather opened up some gifts.
Then we headed over to the carousel.
It was a huge hit, the girls LOVED it!
Waiting patiently for the ride to start.
Look at this little one's face... priceless! She was in heaven.

Thanks for all of the wonderful gifts. It was nice hanging out with you two. The discovery station was so perfect because they could just run around and do what they wanted to do.
So sorry that we missed it! It looks amazing. Little J is still sick but hopefully on the mend!
