A fabulous weekend in Big Bear

We just got back this afternoon from a fun weekend in Big Bear.
Doug wanted to plan a fun weekend with some of his old college friends.
I was immediately on board. He has some fun college friends. :)

We had some last minute cancellations in the group, but we still made the trip with the Frazier Family.
We had such a great weekend with them.

We were even lucky enough to get a little snow.

Mark and Douggie went skiing/snowboarding in the morning, while Courtney and I had the girls.

I loved how cute Emma looked all bundled up.

And Audrey looked absolutely adorable as well.

We packed the kids up into the car, and headed into the Village.
What a funny time we had doing this.
We decided to put Audrey's car seat into our car so we could all ride toether. Courtney and I were a little distracted and then I hear Courtney, "oh no, Emma is under my car." Sure enough she was. She had slipped and kept slipping until all but one arm was under the car.
She wasn't hurt at all, but she couldn't move in all of her snow gear, so she just laid there until Courtney came to her rescue.

As if falling under the car weren't enough, then the poor kid couldn't even see because her beanie kept slipping.

When we got to the Village we decided to take a horse and carriage ride.

Audrey and Courtney

Mama and Emma.

She passed out in the car and missed the entire thing.

It wouldn't have been a college friend weekend without showing a little cougar pride.

Mark and the girls.

After naps and lunch time we headed out to go tubing.
We got turned away from the fun tube place, because they had some silly rule that you had to be at least 2 years old to go flying down the hill super fast.

We spotted the middle school and decided to ignore the no trespassing signs and play in their field. It was perfect and even had a little hill in the back for sledding.

"Why the heck did they put me in this cold stuff?"
Emma was not a huge fan of the snow, but she was a pretty good sport anyway.
She even went down the hill a few times.

Audrey on the other hand LOVED sledding and cried when she got back to the car. That kid would have slid down the hill all day if we would have let her.
See videos at the end of the post.

We headed back to the cabin and had some play time and then BATH TIME!

Such happy girls in the bath together.
See the video at the end of the post.

We woke up this morning and Courtney made a yummy breakfast.
Then the dads and the kiddos headed outside for a bit.
They went on a little back pack hike.

Both girls fell asleep on the hike. They were so cute!

Audrey in sledding heaven!
