Our Mother's Day Trip

Friday evening we headed up to Anaheim for a special Mother's Day Trip.
It was my mom, Ebit, Caubbie, Cris, Anyssa and me.
It was so much fun to spend time with everyone, especially with my mom.
We hardly ever spend time together without Emma and Elle, so this was some nice mother-daughter time for us.
Part of me did feel a little guilty for not bringing them, but it made it easier to focus on my mom.

After checking in to our hotel we headed to Downtown Disney for dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.

We walked around and did some shopping and then headed back to the hotel.
We had so much fun and Caubbie even started a pillow fight.
She was a hoot! It might have been because she finished off the rest of the Sangria and got pretty giddy.

In the morning we headed straight to California Adventure.
We waited in line and got our Fast Passes for the Radiator Springs Racers.
Then we headed to the Tower of Terror.

I know this isn't a great picture, but notice my mom hogging the hand rail...
she was pretty funny and a bit scared she was going to fall out.

We decided to hide from Rose while she was in the bathroom.
Caubbie was the lookout.

Poor Rose. Not sure why we always pull pranks when we get together, but it always makes for a good time.

Then off to Cars Land.

The Radiator Springs Racers were so much fun!

After lunch we went over to Disneyland.

THen after riding lots of rides we went back to California Adventure for the World of Color show.
My pictures didn't do it justice, so thank you Disneyland website for this one.
It was so beautiful!

Walking to the exit Cris broke her flip flop.
Normally we would have felt sorry for her, but instead we all said "I told you that you shouldn't have worn flip flops." We all reminded her before we left the hotel in the morning that flip flops might not be a good idea.

Oh well... a quick stop at the gift shop for a pair of Disney flip flops and problem solved.

We had SO MUCH FUN!
I am so glad that we all took the time out of our busy schedules to spend some time together with our moms.
