Our trip to Seattle

Thursday

-We arrived in the evening

-Played at Grandpa Bob and Grandma Cherie's house

-Had a tea party with Grandma Cherie

-Played bubbles in the backyard

Friday

- Douggie worked

-Mama and Emma went to the American Girl store with Val, Lauren, Hadley and Grandma Cherie

-Emma got her very own American Girl doll and named her Laurie

-Laurie looks like Emma, she even has blue eyes and freckles

-We had lunch at the American Girl store

-Had a tea party with Grandma Cherie

-Had a lovely BBQ at Uncle Mike and Aunt Cindy's house

-Grandpa Fred, GG Bob, GG Margaret and cousin Nikki were also in town and at the BBQ

Saturday

-Had a tea party with Grandma Cherie

-Went out on Uncle Mike and Aunt Cindy's fabulous new boat

-Went crabbing

-Had lunch on the boat

-Ate some delicious crabs

-Went for kayak rides

-Emma and Elle stayed with Grandma Cherie and Grandpa Bob

-Mama and daddy went to dinner with Val, Kevin and some friend in downtown Seattle

-Doug and Kevin went to a concert with friends

Sunday

-Went to church

-Had a tea party with Grandma Cherie

-Emma went fishing with Grandpa Bob and daddy

-Emma caught a beauty

-Had a tea party with Grandma Cherie

-Played bubbles in the backyard

-Had a BBQ with lots of family and friends over

-Played in the sprinklers

-Played with sidewalk chalk

-Emma played with sparklers for the very first time

Monday

- Had one last tea party with Grandma Cherie

-Flew home

We had such a wonderful trip and we are so thankful that we were able to spend time with so many friends and family members.

We love our visits to Seattle, but it always seems as if they are never long enough.
