Elle's doctor appointments.

Last Friday Elle had her 1 year check up.

Elle was such a good girl and Dr. McCormick was so happy to see how healthy and active she is.

Elle's 1 year stats are...

Head Circumference: 18.11" --75%

Weight: 22 lbs 12 oz -- 85%

Height: 30.75 inches -- 91 %

Elle continues to be a tall girl.

Her doctor says that even though she is in the 85th percentile for her weight, she is actually a tad bit on the slender side considering her height. She was also pleased to see Elle's strong little legs and what a great walker Elle is.

She did so well even with getting 4 shots.

Yesterday we took Elle to her specialist appointment for her MCAD deficiency follow up.  She had some blood work done awhile back and we were there to get the results.  The doctors confirmed (again) that she had MCAD deficiency but it is such a mild mutation, that she may not even feel the effects of it.  They told us that they will need to do a little more research to determine if there are any reported cases where her mutation has been known to cause any issues with low blood sugar.  Such great news but there are still a few more tests to confirm everything.

Elle did have to have some blood work, but as always, she took it like a champ!
