22 Months

Miss Emma turned 22 months today.

And what a fun way to celebrate because we were at the desert.

She loves being at the "dirt." I try and get her to say desert, but all she does is say DIRT, then she lists off all of her favorite things at the "dirt" like, cars, Indy (Wendy), toys, Bribrit (Brigitte) and toys.

She is such a joy, even when her little temper tantrums start. Makes me worry because the terrible twos might just be starting soon.

In all honesty, her tantrums are not that bad yet, they still kind of make us giggle.

She always has been very independent. Her favorite thing is to say "walk" all of the time, because she doesn't like us carrying her.

She was never a real fan of coloring until recently, and now she loves it.

She runs and grabs her coloring book, and crayons and yells "color."

She now knows when she is really tired. Before she would just cry, but now she tells us "night night" and walks to her room.

Her favorite part of the morning is going to "Ah's." She loves to go and play with JuJu, Papa and Ah, and looks forward to seeing "Aunt" (Aunt Liz) come in the afternoon.

She still goes pee pee on the potty occasionally, but we aren't tackling potty training just yet.

Her favorite TV shows are still Baba (Yo Gabba Gabba) and Beat Beat (Fresh Beat Band).

She sings and dances with everyone and loves to shout out their names in the opening theme songs. She also has a little crush on Twist from Beat Beat. Every time she sees him she she says his name in a flirty little way. Dada is not very thrilled that she already has a flirty voice.

We love this little turkey so much!
