RODNEY!
Since they were flying up to Seattle, we offered to take care of their dog Rodney.
He will be with us for the rest of the summer, and we are so excited for our new house guest.
Someone got a new dog bed.
You see, Doug has a rule about no dogs on the couch. I kinda felt that since Rodney couldn't join us on the couch he needed to be as comfortable as possible on the floor. I picked up a dog bed for him last night and turns out he loves it. He doesn't even beg to come up on the couch.
We are already having such a great time playing with him, especially Emma.
She gives him lots of hugs and says "woof woof" any time she sees him.

I think this is the perfect kind of pet! We really want a dog, but not full time.
