Desert Trip

This past weekend we headed out to the desert with our desert family.

We set up our camp in a new spot, because another darn group found our secret special spot.

Then Douggie and I went for a little ride and realized that they were packing up to leave.

We in turn packed up in record time and moved on over to our spot, and then all was well in the world. I have never seen 6 adults, 1 kid, 3 dogs, 2 quads, 3 bikes, 1 buggy and 3 trailers move faster. And just in time for the rest of the group to join us.

Emma was a huge fan of rides on the quad.

I put her in the baby backpack and off we went.

Notice in this picture she is yawning, she actually fell asleep 3 times when I took her for a ride.

It made for an easy way to put her down for a nap.

She brought her own quad, and got all dressed up in her riding jersey.

umm... pretty dang cute in her riding jersey and skinny jeans. :)

We enjoyed a little dinner by the camp fire.

We enjoyed a little play time in the trailer.

On Thursday night last week, we made sure Emma was all pumped and set for her trip.

She warmed up on her quad and we caught just a few seconds on video.

Just a few seconds because she took off so fast and almost ran in to the dining room table.

This one is a daredevil!

We had a great time as usual!
