April is the kickoff month for Cruisin' Grand, one of my favorite events here in Escondido. Every Friday night from April through September, Grand Ave is engulfed with classics and hot rods alike. Only cars built before 1973 are allowed to park on the street and the side streets have car club events as well. What a cool way to see all of these cars in such a laid back environment.
Here is Emma parked in front of a mid-60's Shelby Daytona replica. She wasn't too impressed because it wasn't the real thing but there aren't too many real ones out there.
Next we saw a good photo opportunity in front of this highly customized '57 Chevy Bel Air.
Emma didn't seem to care that it was so noisy from all the cars because she slept through most of the event. Looks like we've got another car lover in the family.
