Larry and Robyn's Wedding

December 25 - 30, 2014
We went on a road trip to Texas for my cousin Larry's wedding.
We left on Christmas morning, drove through the night and arrived just a few hours before the rehearsal dinner.
It was a LONG drive, but we had so much fun and loved seeing everyone.
17 of us made the road trip together.

 Ava P. and Ava F.
So funny that two of my cousins have little ones named Ava.

Before the wedding on Saturday, we went to Bass Pro Shop and to the mall for lunch.
It was a funny adventure with all of the crazy kids.

Aunt Julie and Larry

Larry and Robyn were so sweet to include old family wedding pictures.
This is my Grandpa and Grandma AguiƱaga on their wedding day.

All of the girl cousins at the wedding, + a few extra kiddos.
Sara, me, Sabrina, Caitlyn, Angela, Liz and up front Lisa and Cris.

We had such a blast and we are all so happy that we were able to make it for the wedding.
Congratulations Larry and Robyn.

Christmas morning

We had a wonderful Christmas morning.
The girls were so excited to open their gifts from Santa.

Emma got the Santa doll she asked for and Elle got the Peppa Pig doll she asked for. Lucky girls!

We had a wonderful Christmas morning.

After we opened gifts, we finished packing up and headed to Texas.
More to come on our trip to Dallas for my cousin Larry's wedding.

Christmas Eve

12/24/14
On Christmas Eve we exchanged gifts at home.

Emma got Corona "Grumpy Cat" and says that they look so much alike that they could be twins.

Elle got a trampoline and is always jumping.

Emma got Isabelle, the American Girl doll of the year.

In the evening we headed off to church with family.

Elle's Christmas gift

Uncle Andy and Aunt Tami were so sweet and gave the girls wonderful Christmas gifts.
Emma loves her Legos.
Elle's gift is so noisy and I love it!
It is so much fun to watch her play the drum set.
Funny thing is, we don't even mind the noise. She looks adorable and loves it, so we love it too!

Emma's Kindergarten Christmas Program

12/18/14
Emma's kindergarten classes had their Christmas Program.

Emma lost her first tooth!
She was so excited and so happy that the tooth fairy came to visit her.

Man she kept the tooth fairy busy!

Back to the Safari Park

12/13/14
We decided to make another trip to the Safari Park since Doug hadn't been in a while.

We had such a great time watching the lions.
They were so close and the three lion cubs were so playful.

Last soccer game of the season.

12/11/14
Team Fire had their last game of the season.
Emma had such a great time playing soccer and loved that her daddy was one of the coaches.

Rachel and Emma

Thank you to Heather and Doug for being such great coaches this season!

Our tree

While our friends were in town, we went to the Pinery Tree Farm and picked out our Christmas tree.

Abuelita and Papa joined us and picked out their tree as well.

Good friends

We had some great friends come for a visit in December.
My middle school/high school friend Lisa and her oldest daughter Nina came to see us.

We played, picked out our Christmas tree, had Mexican food & margaritas, went to the park, went to Christmas Card Lane, shopped, went to another park and then had more friends over for dinner.

Then more good friends Allyson and her daughter Rayna joined in on the fun.

This was our first time visiting the new Tiger Trail exhibit and we loved it!

It was so fun to have Rayna's Grandpa Paul there as well.
He is a volunteer at the Safari Park and he gave us a fun tour of the exhibit.

It was so great to catch up with Allyson and Lisa.
We are so lucky that they were able to come and visit.
