Easter

After our drive home from the desert, we were home just long enough to shower, change and take some pictures.

Then we went to Uncle Ruben and Aunt Kelleen's house with the family.

 The kids had a great time in the hot tub and the pool.

 Elle loved the fountain. It was the perfect size for her.

After lunch and swimming we had our huge egg hunt.

 Elle really got the hang of it and had lots of fun.

 Emma was crazy fast and it was so hard to take a picture of her.

I asked her to stop so I could take a picture and she told me " I can't! There are so many more eggs I have to find."

We had a wonderful Easter!

Easter eggs

The week before Easter we decorated eggs.

The girls had a great time and I was really surprised that Elle did so well.

No spills or dropping eggs and so I consider it a big success.

 The waited patiently until the eggs were dry so that they could decorate them with stickers.

Easter weekend at the desert.

We went to the desert over Easter weekend.

It was our last trip of this season and we had a great time.

Jacob joined us and the girls had so much fun playing with him.

Elle wouldn't let him move his head away from her car seat. She rubbed his head until she fell asleep. It was pretty darn cute.

 After setting up camp we had lunch at the Blu In.

Then the kids had ice cream. Elle loved her push up!

Saturday morning Wendy took the kids on a rock hunt.

It was a little warm so we filled up the pool and ate lots of watermelon.

 Elle took a long nap. The kids always sleep so well when we are at the desert. Probably because they play so hard.

 Doug and Wendy took the kids for a ride to go and get ice cream.

 On Saturday afternoon we had an Easter egg hunt and the kids had a great time.

Lucky for us, the Easter Bunny read my note I left at home and found us at the desert.

He left lots of fun treats for the kids.

 Elle loved playing in the rhino.

 One last walk with Wendy before it was time to leave.

Emma loves Splash.

We packed up in the morning and headed home to get ready for Easter with the family.

We had so much fun and can hardly wait for our camping trip this summer with all of our desert friends!

Part 7 - Home!

On Friday morning we woke up, packed our bags and headed home.

The girls were so excited to be home.

We had a fabulous vacation!

We loved every minute of it!

Part 6 - Paso Robles

Our final stop on our Cali trip was Paso Robles.

This was a bit selfish on the adults part. We decided on Paso Robles so that we could enjoy some of the great wineries.

-had a yummy BBQ dinner

-watched two girls ride the mechanical bull while we ate

-Emma and Doug watched Jeopardy in the lobby
