Now we can post them...

I know everyone wanted to see more of Jacob's pictures, but we had to wait until his mommy opened her gift until we could post them. Here are some favorites... So proud to be 3!
Believe it or not, he didn't even get wet while on the rocks. That is a huge deal for a little boy to not play in the water. Tía Rie was very proud of him for being a good boy!

Probably one of the most handsome little guys ever!
He had a great time swinging.
Such a ham!

That little smile is just perfect! He has very strong arm muscles just like his daddy, we made him hang here for a long time to get perfect pictures.

Our little monkey of a nephew!

Happy Birthday Ebit (Elizabeth)!!!

Jacob & Douggie hanging out in the backyard before everyone showed up.
Yes, we know there are lots of weeds, but it has been too hot for weeding. Apparently my mom was disturbed by them, because she started weeding right away.

Ebit opening her gifts. She just opened Jacob's pictures that we had taken for her, and they were a huge hit, she loved them!
Jacob, Zeke, and Anyssa paitently waiting for cake.
Getting ready to blow out the candles.

You know you are at a pregnant woman's house when there are 4 different kinds of ice cream for the cake. Sometime decisions are so hard, so it is always good to have a variety.

Happy Birthday Ebit, we love you!

The crib and dresser are in!

The crib and dresser/changing table came in over the weekend, so Doug picked them up and got right to work.

Douggie getting started.

Corona made sure he was doing it correctly!
The finished project!
The dresser/changing table.

On a funny side note... Doug was about 75% done putting together the crib, when I walked in to the room and said "Oh No, the mattress support is too low, it needs to be higher when she is a newborn." Doug decided to take my advice and make it higher, even though he was following the directions. He is such a sweetheart to listen to his wife! :) So Doug got the crib all put together and it looked great. As I went to bed I stopped in Emma's room to admire her cute crib, when it hit me!!! I started laughing out of control and tried to get the words out to Doug, "I messed up, the crib didn't need to be higher, because when we have the mattress in it Emma will lay higher." If we were to leave it as high as it is now she would be even with the top and could roll right out. Needless to say Doug wasn't laughing very hard, and he said we would fix it, but it would have to be another day. Way to go Marie, pregnant brain got the best of you this time!

24 Week Appointment...

On Thursday morning we had our 24 week appointment with Dr. Langford.
He said everything looks great, and that I am just another "boring" pregnancy.
But he said in this case boring is good!
Here is our little gal's profile.
It took several minutes to get a good look at her face.
Apparently her hand is her comfort, because she had it covering her face the entire time.

We even got a little 3D preview.

Dr. Langford uses 3D for non-entertainment purposes, if he gets a good shot, then he is always happy to print it out.

We have our 3D/4D appointment in a few weeks. I can't wait to see more pictures

of her little face.

24 weeks!!!

We are at 24 weeks!!! Each month has been flying by, but I am told the last 2 months slow way down and seem to take forever. Oh well, at least I can have one more month fly by until then.

Kristyn's shower for baby Jillian :)

Jillian's nursery theme is Alice in Wonderland,
so the theme was carried out at her Tea Party Baby shower.

Such a cute tea pot cake in the middle, and lots of little tea cup cupcakes.

The ladies went all out for this shower with hand made signs and lots of cute decorations!

Kristyn had so many beautiful gifts to open, Jason had to step in and help.

How many pregnant women can you fit at one baby shower? Eight!!! I know there are only seven in this picture, that's only because one had just left.  We were all in due date order, with the one on the far right due tomorrow! What a trooper for being out and about.  Kristyn and  baby Jillian are going to have some serious play dates.

Here is our little preggo club, we are all lucky enough to be pregnant together. Right now we are all dear friends, and our little ones will soon be able to be good friends as well.

Happy 3rd Birthday Jacob!

Jacob had his 3rd birthday party yesterday evening, and we all had a great time!
If you look closely at the sign you can see the folks at party city are trying to confuse today's children. They are selling signs that say "BIPTHDAY"
Jacob enjoying his birthday dinner!

Getting ready to hit his Cars pinata.

Showing uncle Douggie all of his candy! Careful Jacob, he might take all of your peanut butter cups, those are his favorite.

Looking so sweet as he is opening all of his gifts.
He was a little overwhelmed.

He tried so hard to get that last candle out that he actually leaned in to the cake and got frosting all over his shirt.

We are well on our way to getting the nursery together for little Emma!
We found this adorable bookshelf/dollhouse for Emma's room. We can use it for storage now and then when she gets older it becomes her dollhouse. I had lots of fun putting all of her clothes and goodies on it!

Adding the chalkboard black!

Douggie adding the chalkboard stripe.

The finished stripe!

Adding the finishing touch, the switch plate.

Great job on the painting, next comes the chair rails!

The painting begins!

We spent our Saturday painting the pink!
Step 1 - Pink for the top half of the nursery.

Corona, you are a beautiful shade of vanilla, but we were hoping for pink.

She just couldn't help herself and had to jump in the paint tray.

Bring on the PINK!

My mom (Grandma Rose) even came over to help sew the curtains.

Thanks for all of your help!

2 cats + 1 laser level = lots of laughs

Getting ready to paint the nursery!
Rey and Corona keeping me entertained.

Since I am not supposed to help with the painting of the nursery, I had to find something to keep me entertained!
